Iridology
The eyes are considered a mirror of the entire body. Iridology is a diagnostic tool that involves examining patterns, colors, and characteristics of the iris to diagnose functional disruptions in the body and identify potential deficiencies.
Iris Examination:
The iris is compared to an iris chart, dividing it into different areas corresponding to different parts of the human body. This helps determine whether specific organs or systems in the body are inflamed, overactive, disturbed, or in good condition. Iris diagnosis is always used in conjunction with a medical questionnaire/anamnesis and other diagnostic tools.
Aspects Examined in Iridology:
- Constitution: Provides a general overview of strengths and weaknesses in the body and psyche of the client.
- Diathesis: Examines the predisposition or susceptibility to certain diseases or manifestations thereof.
- Character: The client’s character can be observed in the structure of the eyes.
- Iris Signs: Abnormalities in the radial tissue or color, comparable to a fingerprint, are related to the client’s constitution and potential diatheses.
- Pupil Deformations: Irregularities in the shape of the pupil may be related to spinal column disorders and psychological disturbances.
- Sclera: Blood vessels in the sclera (white part of the eye) provide insights into the condition of blood vessels throughout the body.
Consultation Process:
During a consultation, special equipment is used to take eye photos, which are then analyzed on-site. An iridology consultation is often part of a treatment plan.
